It is time to end the stigma of mental health and get support when you need it. You deserve to be supported wherever you are at. As humans we are social creatures. We were never meant to have it all figured out.
As therapists many of us have seen and heard a lot. There can be a fear of being judged, that my problem is not big enough to see a therapist, or my problem is too shameful to share. Shame dissolves in the face of compassion. All therapists have a history that has bought them into therapy. Therapists in general are lived in people. They have been through a lot themselves and have leant self-compassion and thus deep compassion for others and the human condition.
If you think you might need to see someone, don’t hold back. Take the leap of faith and support yourself!
