As parents, it is easy to become housemates rather than lovers and playmates. It is easy to allow the children to take up all the extra time and space. 

It is important for parents to carve out time to be together, to play, to rediscover each other, to touch, and to talk.

Then when the kids leave, you won’t find yourself living with a stranger.
