How do I know if something is an intergenerational issue? What’s the issue - e.g. I’m terrified of losing all my money, which makes me stay at jobs I dislike and prevents me from investing in anything. Does this make sense, given your life story? - e.g. No, I have never lost all my money, and neither has anyone around me. It doesn't make any sense. Has someone in your family line had this experience? (You may not know this). E.g. Yes, my grandfather lost a fortune and his business during an embargo in Africa.
