The High Priestess and The Empress
How was your week focusing on the Fool and the Magician? Notice which card of the two felt the most relevant. Did you find yourself considering your daily card in the context of this weekly theme?
This week are we working with two of my favourite cards in the deck (don’t tell the other cards : ). We work powerfully with our unconscious through The High Priestess. In this video I use the term subconscious and unconscious interchangeably to refer to the repressed, primitive, instinctual thoughts and ‘mind matter’ that cannot be bought into the conscious mind at will. The Empress is the archetypal embodied Divine feminine (for both men and women), abundant, at peace and one with the heavens and the Earth.
Below are some notes for you to use as a quick reference if you draw these cards and your spiritual practices related to the card. Feel free to do all the recommended practices for each card or if you prefer to focus on one card per week then choose the one which is most calling you and do the spiritual practices for that card only.
