I was so moved by how many of you shared your stories of traumatic births with me earlier in the week.
Birth trauma might sound like this:
- I was completely overwhelmed and out of control
- I thought I was going to die
- Nobody could really help me I was alone and afraid
- My body/partner/medical establishment let me down
- There was an emergency, and I was terrified
- The pain was so much I didn’t think I could cope
I wish we were talking about this more.
