With this practice, we can swap the word ‘ghosted’ for ‘triggered’.
It is natural to feel triggered when you have been ghosted. Most people who are ghosted report feeling left with a lack of closure. They have gone, and we are left to deal with our internal responses.
Being ghosted can be an opportunity for your own healing and growth. It can be helpful if, amidst the pain, you take some time to reflect on what is coming up for you and understand yourself more deeply. Remember to hold yourself gently, it is often incredibly confusing and hurtful. You deserve to be held with love and tenderness.
Love, Jen
