Spiritual awakening can feel…surprisingly lonely.
You start to see things differently. Feel more. Notice more. And suddenly…the conversations around you don’t quite land the same.
You try to explain what you’re experiencing… but it feels like people don’t really get it. Or don’t want to.
Growth can create distance. Not because you don’t love people…but because your inner world is expanding.
This is often the moment you’re meant to find your people.
A mentor. A teacher. A community that speaks the same language.
If you’re in this space, gently explore:
- Follow people who resonate deeply
- Join small groups or circles (not just consume content)
- Trust how your body feels around a teacher
- Take your time — alignment matters more than urgency
- Let yourself be supported
Spiritual awakening can feel like you’ve stepped into a different world…alone.
You might notice yourself pulling back from conversations that once felt easy. Struggling to explain what you’re feeling or sensing. Wondering if it would just be easier not to say anything at all.
This is a very real part of the process.
As your inner world expands, it can create a temporary sense of distance from the people around you. Not because you don’t love them, but because you’re seeing, feeling, and relating in a new way.
Having mentors and communities at different stages of my life has made a profound difference for me. There were times I needed guidance, times I needed grounding, and times I simply needed to be around people who understood.
There are people who will understand you and what you are going through. There are spaces where you will feel at home.
Have you ever felt this kind of loneliness on your path?
Love, Jen 🪷
