The Hanged Man and Death
I hope you enjoyed your session with The Wheel of Fortune and Justice. In this session we move into a new energy with the Hanged Man.
The Hanged Man is hanging upside down by one leg on a wooden T bar. He is not struggling, he seems to be completely at peace and surrendered to his predicament. In this card we learn to be in bliss in any situation.
Our next card is card thirteen, Death. It is one of the most feared cards in the tarot, but only because of our misunderstanding of death in Western culture. Death is part of nature, it is natural and normal, it is part of living. In this card different parts of our psyche react to Death’s arrival in different ways. The trick is to welcome Death and all it has to offer to allow for the regrowth that always comes after death has visited. The meditation in this session will help you to cultivate a new relationship with death. I hope you enjoy it.
Below are some notes for you to use as a quick reference if you draw these cards and your spiritual practices related to the card.
