I’m guilty of worrying about my kids. In Western culture, worrying about our kids is part of the norm. But when does worry become too much? It’s too much when it feels overwhelming and all-consuming, when you can’t focus on work, maybe you find yourself feeling emotional a lot and it starts to interfere with your daily life. It might show up as a constant sense of dread or anxiety, checking on your child, avoiding situations that you think could be risky, and even experiencing physical symptoms like headaches or stomachaches. This worry is telling you that something is wrong. Your amazing body is telling you that something needs to be addressed.
