One of the reasons I love group therapy so much is because relationship patterns often become clearer in relationship.

Many people can understand their patterns intellectually, but still find themselves:

  • People pleasing
  • Over-functioning
  • Shutting down
  • Withdrawing
  • Overthinking
  • Fearing abandonment when they get close to others

Sometimes these patterns only fully appear in relationship — not in isolation.

In group therapy, we gently explore those patterns together in real time. Not with shame, or pressure, but with curiosity, compassion, and support.

What You Can Expect

You won’t be forced to share before you’re ready. We move slowly and respectfully.

You’ll begin noticing the parts of you that appear in relationships — the people pleaser, the overthinker, the shut-down part, the anxious part.

You’ll learn how to stay connected to yourself while relating to others. This is where healing starts to become embodied.

You might notice:

  • Who you compare yourself to
  • Who feels safe
  • Who you pull toward
  • Who you pull away from

And we work with that gently.

This is not about being judged or “fixed.” It’s about building more inner secure attachment — with support, awareness, and compassion.

You don’t need to arrive “healed.” You don’t need to be good at groups. And you don’t need to share everything immediately.

We move slowly and respectfully so protective parts can begin to feel safer.

Group therapy is for people who are ready to stop repeating old relational patterns and begin building more secure ways of relating — both to themselves and others.
