“Trauma is a fact of life. It does not have to be a life sentence.”
For many people, trauma feels like a life sentence. It feels inescapable - a constant cloud of
sadness, anxiety or fear. Trauma is a sense of overwhelm that impacts our ability to adapt, thrive, and flourish. The
symptoms of trauma aren’t always felt immediately - they may emerge over time as the body
and mind attempt to cope with the stress. A somatic approach to healing trauma can help release the grip of trauma and allow release,
healing, and freedom. Somatic therapy brings us back to a sense of wholeness. I’m committed to learning more about body-based approaches to working with trauma - for
myself and for others. And so I can’t wait for The Embody Lab’s 60HR Integrative Somatic
Trauma Therapy. They’re bringing together the world’s leading somatic trauma therapists such as Dr Stephen Porges, Staci Haines, Dr Peter Levine, Nkem Ndefo, Dr Albert Wong, Dr Arielle Schwartz, Dr Sara King, Dr Pat Ogden, and more into one program to dive deeply into this transformative approach to trauma therapy. This wisdom of this course can be helpful to: social workers, counselors, yoga teachers, coaches, psychologists, physicians, meditation teachers, massage therapists, acupuncturists, kinesiologists, alternative health practitioners and religious leaders. Join us in the revolution of coming home to the body with somatics and rediscover how it can truly transform our lives and the world!
